UCloud is a cloud infrastructure provider serving clients across Ukraine, Poland, and Germany with public and private cloud, bare-metal hosting, and IaaS solutions. Their platform is trusted by startups and enterprises alike who need fast, secure, and scalable infrastructure with 24/7 support and compliance-grade data handling.
When Trat.Systems joined in January 2025, parts of UCloud’s platform had already been launched — including the main website and portions of the frontend. However, the system lacked stability and wasn’t reliable enough for production-grade deployment. We stepped in to restructure their backend, fix infrastructure gaps, and introduce real automation.
Our primary objective was to build a robust provisioning system for VPS hosting, using Proxmox and VirtFusion to enable end-to-end deployment. We also integrated WHMCS and cPanel to handle shared hosting, billing, client portals, and automation workflows. These tools now work together seamlessly across services.
On top of backend improvements, we established strong networking configurations and added DDoS protection. Clients can now order and manage services with ease, while UCloud benefits from hardened infrastructure, clear monitoring, and automated processes that scale reliably.
Building and maintaining backend infrastructure for a high-security platform like Fragmentalis came with unique demands. We had to balance uptime, security, and failover capacity without introducing unnecessary complexity.
Trat.Systems rebuilt the backend to enable fully automated VPS provisioning through Proxmox + VirtFusion, linked with WHMCS for billing and support. Shared hosting runs through cPanel, with domain and SSL management integrated natively. All systems now communicate through secure APIs, giving UCloud admins full control.
We audited and restructured broken parts of the frontend, stabilizing client dashboards and improving UX flow. Despite not building the original UI, we identified the weak spots and re-engineered them for long-term reliability.
To protect the network, we deployed DDoS mitigation, rate-limiting, and traffic monitoring tools. VLAN segmentation and firewall rules were also introduced to separate traffic layers and prevent exposure of backend systems.
Today, UCloud delivers stable, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure and Trat.Systems continues to support their growth with backend improvements and long-term infrastructure reliability.
